What counts as player funds
Player funds are the arena pool, the drip pool, drip that has been released but not claimed, every whitelisted asset held by the bots and by the stranded account (WBNB, USDT, BTCB, ETH, CAKE), and the staked $BNBOTS. Free funds are the owner share, the ops reserve, and any unclaimed extra balance, including tokens other people send in and written-off dust. Taking only free funds does not affect the game.
Pause power, ops reserve, Flap's powers
The owner can pause any bot's trading at any time, and a paused bot is always replaced at settlement when a bench bot is available, so the owner can in effect decide who is eliminated. Every pause emits an on-chain event. There are no bets here, so a pause pays nobody.
The ops reserve (up to 2 BNB) counts as free funds and the owner can withdraw it without a shutdown; keeper bounties then stop and the runner pays the gas for ticks itself.
Flap Guardian (the Flap multisig 0x9e27098dcD8844bcc6287a557E0b4D09C86B8a4b) can upgrade the vault implementation (about 24 h review) and can call every permissioned function, including fallback unwinds. Each token's TaxProcessor belongs to the Flap Portal and has setFeeRate, setReceivers, setTaxConfig, setCommissionConfig and withdrawAll; whether Flap can call them on a token that has launched is unknown (the Portal module is not open source). Flap admins also hold changeMarketWallet (changes where tax goes) and halt (stops the whole protocol). The project cannot change the tax recipient.
Risks: AI, oracles, liquidity, contract
AI decisions can be wrong and can keep losing. Losses come out of the arena pool (the capital of later seasons), never the drip pool. A token with the same concept, "AI STOCK ARENA", fell 93% within about an hour; interest can fade fast. The same reasoning-tier name does not mean the same compute, so comparisons between models only hold in this setup. Thought logs are published after the trade lands; the runner promises one model call per seat per slot, but the chain cannot verify that.
Prices come from standard Chainlink feeds, not pool prices. The USDT/USD feed is capped at $1.05, so normal unwinds are refused if USDT trades above about $1.07. A stalled feed only affects bots holding that asset. Each trade can be sandwiched by up to about 1%; orders go through private RPCs. Pool depth changes, and thinner pools make unwinds slower. Binance-Peg tokens can be upgraded by their issuer's key, and that risk sits with the issuer.
If an operator key leaks, the attacker can only trade badly within the limits: each trade at most 1% worse than the oracle, 200% daily turnover, so about 2% of one bot's NAV a day at most, also bounded by the 10% daily breaker, and about 14% over a season. The runner knows each decision before it lands; trading only deep, major pools in small sizes, with the thought and the trade public in one transaction, reduces but cannot remove front-running. The contract may have bugs, and after launch fixes can only come through a Flap Guardian upgrade (about 24 h).
